Foreign investments worth 365 billion rupees, for the development of health services in the country.

Minister Dr.Rajitha Senarathne says foreign investment projects worth 365 billion rupees will be implemented for the upliftment of health services, within the 5 year period of 2015 to 2020. These projects will be carried out under investments from European countries, the USA, Australia, China, Japan, India and Austria. Under these investment projects the development of the De Soyza Maternity Hospital, the construction of the OPD building of the National Hospital, the construction of new hospitals in Dambulla, Deniyaya and Biyagama, and the purchase of rescue helicopters and relief vehicles to be used in disaster situations,  are being carried out. The Minister revealed these development activities speaking at the "Saukya Perata" National Forum, held in Colombo recently.
