Landslide warning to 4 districts due to prevailing inclement weather condition

The Disaster Management Center says Landslide warning is given to 4 districts due to prevailing inclement weather condition. The center also stated the water level Kukuleganga has gone up due to heavy rain received yesterday. All sluice gates were open due to this situation. The center also requests the residents of Agalawatta, Ingiriya, Baduraliya and Madururawela areas to be vigilant during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, the DMC said many roads of leading towns in the country were flooded due to heavy rain experienced yesterday in many parts of the island. Galle, Matara, Kalutara and Kegalle districts are also given landslide warnings due to this situation.
